IPAF Demonstrator Course (MEWP Demonstrator Training)
The IPAF Demonstrator course from Alide Hire Services is designed for individuals responsible for demonstrating Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) and instructing operators on safe and correct use. This accredited course equips participants with the knowledge, instructional skills, and confidence needed to deliver effective equipment demonstrations and promote safe, responsible MEWP operation.
Prerequisite:
Participants must hold a valid IPAF PAL Operator Card in the relevant category to achieve IPAF Demonstrator status.

IPAF 3A – Mobile Vertical (Scissor Lifts)

IPAF 3B – Mobile Boom (Cherry Pickers)

How long is this course?
This one-day IPAF Demonstrator course combines classroom-based theory with practical training and assessment.
What will I receive once certified?
Participants must successfully complete a written theory assessment and demonstrate effective instructional techniques during practical handover and operator familiarisation exercises.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive:
- IPAF Demonstrator certification
- IPAF PAL Card with Demonstrator status
- Course certificate
(All valid for five years)

- Demonstrator responsibilities under health and safety legislation and the IPAF Code of Practice
- MEWP categories, specifications, controls, alarms, and operating limitations
