IPAF MEWPs for Managers
At our IPAF Training Centre, it’s not just about learning how to operate MEWPs — we ensure every delegate understands the importance of proper familiarisation.
As part of the course, delegates were tasked with self-familiarising themselves with the emergency lowering procedures. It quickly became clear that some machines are far more complex than others.
However, by using the manufacturer’s instruction manual and clearly legible decals, every delegate was able to complete the task successfully.
All delegates leave our Training Centre with a full understanding of:

- Rescue planning
Our next goal is to ensure that Managers and Supervisors fully understand their duty of care when planning work — making sure operators are properly familiarised and given the time and resources needed to carry out tasks safely.
